The Jungle Awaits
We are deep into the Ukiyo-e Menagerie now. The 'Canopy Dojo' is open for business, and if you haven't picked your spirit animal yet, the league will pick one for you—and it's usually a 'Scavenger.' This week, we transition from the dry, dusty 'Creek Bed' to the potentially saturated 'The Ponds.' The narrative says a weather event washed out the lower ranks, creating a vacuum. In reality, it just means it's probably going to be humid, and someone's grip is going to slip on a crucial drive.
The Cost of Survival
A modest fee to secure your place in the ecosystem. Throw in for the Ace Pot—it's currently sitting at a cool $51.00. That's enough to buy a lot of plastic, or at least pay for the therapy you'll need after you lip out a circle 2.
The Hunt Begins
The Johnny Roberts Disc Golf Course is the arena. It's short, it's brutal, and Ralston Creek doesn't care about your feelings. 18 holes of pure conviction where a putter beats a driver every time. Flex start means you choose when you enter the fray, between 7:00 AM and 6:40 PM. Just remember, the early bird gets the worm, but the late bird... well, they usually have to finish in the dark.
The Totem Tags
We are playing for the Bag Tag Totems. Tags 1-5 are the Apex Chroma (Tigers, Eagles), 6-20 are Canopy Elite (Wolves, Hawks), and 21+ are Undergrowth (Boars, Insects). If you lose, you shed your skin and take a lower form. It's evolution, but faster and with more plastic.
In the RAD division, Todd Moore is on the prowl, moving up to take the #1 spot. Over in RAE, Sean Pashia is holding down the fort with the stability of a seasoned predator. The pack is sorting itself out. Are you a hunter, or are you just lunch?
Jungle Protocol
It's Week 4. If you haven't joined yet, you're not fashionably late; you're just falling behind the herd. But hey, there's always room for more scavengers at the bottom. Jump in now and start your climb up the food chain.
