Foundry Fable

According to guild legend, the Foundry Fable began as an ordinary brass casting that fell into the great furnace during the Steam-Putterer's Guild's founding night. Instead of melting, it absorbed the forge's heat and the whispered stories of every engineer who worked the foundry that night, emerging at dawn transformed into a living chronicle of every league the guild would ever sanction.

A hammertone brass disc whose uneven surface catches desert light like rippling dunes; interlocking cogs around the perimeter, each stamped with a former carrier's initials and the date of their reign; an inset teardrop of amber desert glass at the center that glows softly when held to the sun; a small steam vent on the reverse that releases a faint wisp of vapor when squeezed tightly, signaling the tag is active and listening.

The Foundry Fable serves as the series' living record, with each league's champion etching their chapter into its surface before passing it on, binding every player across every league into a single, continuous narrative.
