Forged in the ancient Foundry Deep beneath the first course of the Brass-Sanded Apex, the Obsidian Relay was created by the Steam-Putterer's founding engineers to capture the essence of every survivor who passed through the desert - transforming their competitive spirit into a crystalline chain that links all eras together. A rival guild gifted it to the Guild as a challenge, and accepting it meant accepting the burden of preserving all competitive history.

A jagged shard of volcanic glass with copper veins running through it that pulse with orange light during high-stakes moments. The interior chamber holds preserved sand from every league era, visible through a glass lens set into the brass mount. The stone is temperature-sensitive, glowing brighter during intense competition. It possesses extreme durability - cannot be destroyed, only transferred - and its weight subtly shifts based on the current holder's competitive standing.
