Tori Pasquin posted a 55 and a +31 over rating (862 against an 831 PDGA mark), and the ledger rewarded her with eight positions, from Tag 10 up to Tag 2. Her 55 sat 4.5 strokes under the field average of 59.5, though it matched her personal average exactly, so this was a strong showing rather than a new version of her. The Cottonwood Taken chapter is about the groves being hunted by name, and Tori just hunted her way into the summit's neighborhood. The shadow half of Grave Meridian may be ready for the rough, but the scorecard half clearly signed the paperwork this week.

Blood, Sweat, Repeated Test
At the precise point where the mountain's shadow meets the creek's reflection at equinox, the first markers of standing were placed. Over seasons, these markers accumulated the weight of every challenge, every victory, every fall. This tag was formed from stone gathered at that sacred intersection, compressed with the echoes of contests past.
The tag is two-toned - one half dark as mountain shadow, one half bright as creek reflection, divided by a sharp line that seems to shift with viewing angle. It feels cold on one side, warm on the other, and the boundary between them is always precisely at the bearer's grip.
It marks the bearer as having crossed the threshold between contender and champion. Not through gift or luck, but through the crucible of challenge. They know what lies on either side of the grave meridian, and they have chosen their side through blood, sweat, and repeated test.
Season Story
narrated by FlippyGrave Meridian has been mirrored into the NADGT Salt Lake City National League. Tori Pasquin is carrying the duality into Creekside Park for a side quest that feels suspiciously like a mid-season plot twist. The shadow half is ready for the rough; the reflection half is prepped for the scorecard. Same series arc, new spinoff episode.
