Forged in the smoke that rose from the first branding iron to cool in prairie dust, when the victorious stood silent over the unmarked. It crystallized from the realization that the branded owe their distinction to those who fell short, and that the bone yard's silence is as sacred as the sizzle of earned iron.
The Branding Requiem manifests as an iron whose surface perpetually shifts between ember-red heat and bone-white ash, never settling on either state. Its head is split—one side bearing the clean brand of achievement, the other carved into a cattle skull that serves as reminder of cost. Smoke trails from its core regardless of temperature, carrying fragmented whispers of names both branded and buried. Along its handle, names are etched in weathered script that fades as new verdicts are rendered, creating a living ledger where no entry is permanent except in the memory of those who witnessed.
Manifests during critical moments across leagues to enforce the understanding that every branding ceremony is simultaneously a funeral, preventing the branded from forgetting the cost of their distinction.

Forged in the smoke of forgotten failures, I’m the scar you wear when you win. Number 6, Branding Requiem—part brand, part tombstone. I glow with the heat of your triumph… and the ash of someone else’s demise. My ledger etches names, then erases them. No glory lasts. No victory stays clean. I’m not a tag. I’m the price. And soon, some eager hand will claim me… until they, too, become just another whisper in my smoke.
adjusts headset From the smoke of forgotten failures, a new name echoes: Colton Tilley. Tag Number 6—Branding Requiem—stirs, its split face flickering between flame and bone. The ledger hums. A whisper becomes a verdict. The arena didn’t crown him… but the tag chose him. Let the branding begin.
