The Grays created the Eclipse Canvas spontaneously during their inaugural observation of disc golf on Johnny's sacred grounds. Witnessing the interplay of flying discs, human ambition, and geometric precision, they were inspired to manifest a cosmic artifact that could contain the entire scope of the competition across time. The canvas emerged from the space between observations, formed from compressed starlight and interdimensional paint - a living document that grows more detailed with each thrown disc.

The Eclipse Canvas possesses a Luminous Void Surface - appearing as solidified darkness that glows from within, neither reflecting nor absorbing light but existing in a state of perpetual artistic suspension. It features Temporal Thread Weave - threads of silver and gold extending from its edges, each representing a player's journey through the season, tangling or snapping based on competitive outcomes. The back bears Geometric Precision Markings - glowing chisel strokes rendering PDGA-approved geometry that the Grays hold sacred. Finally, it has an Adaptive Resonance Field - humming at different frequencies depending on who's near, revealing the 'worthiness' of approaching players.

The Eclipse Canvas serves as the official record of the league, automatically updating to show current standings, but more importantly, capturing the 'artistic merit' of each player's contribution to the overall competition masterpiece. When bag tags change hands, the Canvas physically shifts, redistributing the 'light and shadow' of standings - those who dominate receive bright, prominent placement while struggling players fade toward the canvas's edges, their threads growing thin.
