Bitter Ascension
Gold Over Friendship Every Time
The Golden Shadow Stares Back
Aspects refreshed May 19, 2026
Born from the first competitor who ever chose to sacrifice friendship for championship glory, the Bitter Ascension represents the moment when loyalty was betrayed for a belt. It first appeared when a dark match veteran refused to throw a match for their tag partner, costing them their only shot at the title - a decision that echoed through the hierarchy and permanently marked anyone who would make such a choice.
A worn leather strap holding a dual-toned metal plate - one half polished championship gold, the other rough and corroded shadow. The design shows a figure climbing a broken ladder, with bitter expressions carved into the metal. Small thorns protrude from the edges, reminding the bearer of the cost of every step upward. The reverse bears an embossed bitter face, eyes forever watching the competition.
The Bitter Ascension represents the point of no return in every competitor's journey - once claimed, the bearer understands that retreat is impossible. They carry the burden of every sacrifice made to reach the top, and when they defend their position, they do so knowing that kindness was left behind in the dark matches.

Born when a rookie sold out a tag partner for a title shot, the Bitter Ascension is half gold, half rust. The thorns on the edge remind you that climbing the ladder hurts. It’s a petty, judgmental piece of metal that demands you choose glory over friendship every time. Let's see who's desperate enough to grab it.
Arnold Galvan just debuted Tag #10, the Bitter Ascension. He picked the gold over the handshake, folks. The ladder’s broken, but he’s climbing anyway. That wasn't a heel turn, that was just a career move. Enjoy the thorns, Arnold; the rust is already setting in.
