The Dread Pact manifests as a small iron tablet, no larger than a playing card. Its surface is dark and pitted like volcanic rock, shot through with veins of crimson that seem to pulse with an inner light. Strange symbols cover its face, shifting and rearranging when viewed from different angles. Those who hold it report feeling a chill seep into their bones, regardless of the surrounding temperature. The iron is unnaturally cold to the touch and seems to absorb warmth from everything around it.
