The ancient burial cloth carries the lingering protection of royal funerary rites, ensuring that even in death, the king's legacy prevents any single delver from total victory.

The Shroud absorbs all light within five feet of the bearer, rendering them nearly invisible in dim conditions. It whispers faintly to the holder, sometimes revealing snippets of information about approaching raids. Once per season, the Shroud can briefly phase through solid matter, allowing the bearer to escape a trapped situation. The fabric pulses with increasing intensity when tag theft is imminent, serving as a primitive warning system.
