Before the Canopy Dojo existed, a great serpent coiled around the first tree of the jungle. Warriors carved shrines into its scales, and where its body met the earth, the first arena was born. Now the Shrine Serpent wraps around the totem itself, its coils forming the sacred boundaries where all challenges must be issued.

The Shrine Serpent's scales function as natural totems, shifting colors based on current hierarchical standings to reflect the current power dynamic. Its eyes burn with the amber light of accumulated competitive energy, witnessed across countless Wednesday nights. The serpent's body forms the living boundaries between leagues, each coil representing a different tier of competition.

The Shrine Serpent acts as the witness to all challenges, its movement through the canopy indicating shifts in power. When it uncoils from one branch to another, entire leagues feel the tremor of hierarchical change.
