Before the Canopy Dojo existed, the jungle spirits recognized that the hierarchy required a sacred threshold—a moment of transformation marking the shift from ordinary competitor to predator. They wove the first Fog Veil from morning mist and the breath of sleeping jaguars, breathing into it the power to dissolve the self that enters and reveal the hunter that emerges. This ancient artifact remains bound to the Dojo's deepest magic, manifesting whenever the arena activates to witness the endless cycle of shedding and becoming.

The Fog Veil manifests as shifting bands of mist that coalesce into a semi-transparent membrane—not fully solid, not fully gas, but existing in the liminal space between. Its edges curl and uncurl like smoke when undisturbed, creating an organic, ever-shifting boundary. Competitors report a sharp temperature drop as they approach, followed by a sensation of being wrapped in something cold and impossibly soft. The Fog Veil carries the scent of wet stone and decaying jungle growth, sensing the competitive hunger building in nearby Ronin.

The Fog Veil serves as the Canopy Dojo's living boundary, present whenever the Dojo activates, wrapping around each competitor as they enter and dissolving away to reveal their transformed state. It exists simultaneously across all leagues as the universal moment of metamorphosis, connecting all Ronin of the Green through the shared experience of shedding their ordinary selves and becoming predators.
