The Waning Light manifests as a palm-sized lantern crafted from black iron and crystallized shadow. Within its cracked glass chamber burns an eternal flame that responds to the holder's competitive standing - burning bright gold when ascending, dimming to ember-orange when declining, and flickering to near-extinction when the holder is at their lowest. The lantern's handle is wrapped in faded leather from Marcus's original bag tag.
