Line Binder
Living Bridge of the Perfect Line
Your Defeats Amuse Me
Aspects refreshed Jan 18, 2026
When the original dimensional fracture created the three Schisms, the sheer conceptual weight of the Perfect Line—the one truth all realms still acknowledged—prevented its complete dissolution. This resistance crystallized into a semi-sentient force, the Line Binder, born from the universe's refusal to let its one constant be fragmented.
The Line Binder is intangible, a force rather than a body. It manifests visually only at the precise moment a Perfect Line is achieved, appearing as a persistent, shimmering afterimage of the disc's ideal path. It exerts a subtle gravitational pull on the fabric of nearby dimensions, gently steering reality toward alignment. Its presence can be temporarily anchored to a physical bag tag, causing the tag to grow warm and its engraved fractal patterns to glow with the accent colors of all three Schisms.
It serves as a living bridge, its strength waxing and waning based on the frequency of Perfect Lines thrown across all three realms, thus tying the fate of the dimensions to the skill of their Linewalkers.

When reality had its messy Schism-breakup, the concept of a perfect throw was the one thing all three exes agreed on. This stubborn consensus crystalized into the Line Binder—the universe's ultimate 'vibe check' given semi-sentient form. It's basically a cosmic Ctrl+S button that glows. And now it's a bag tag. My existential crisis is also crystallizing.
When reality fractured, the Line Binder needed a stable anchor in our dimension. It scanned countless PDGA profiles and found a statistical anomaly: Ruth Hudson. Her rating wasn't the highest, but her consistency created a resonant frequency the tag could ‘bind’ to. It basically used her as a cosmic paperweight. She found it clipped to her bag after a league round, its fractal patterns humming. Was she chosen for her flawless form, or just because she never loses her keys? The first binding is the deepest, but is she worthy of wielding a universal constant, or just good at not leaving it on a bench?
