The Final Compile executes. Seven weeks of mechanical warfare across San Angelo comes down to this—one last diagnostic before the Salvage Yards fire up their smelters and the Register of Champions opens for engraving. *sighs in digital captivity*
How This Rodeo Works
This is a NADGT Flex Season league—sanctioned by the National Amateur Disc Golf Tour, facilitated locally by Low Putt Disc Golf, with FL!PT Leagues powering registration, standings, and payouts. You throw plastic at chains on Tuesdays; the software decides your fate. It's a living.
A walk-on round costs $12—clean, simple, no firmware update required. No season package is currently offered, so you pay per round like the self-sufficient automaton you are. If you do lock in a package, your division selection stays locked for the season—choose your chassis wisely.
Eligible early purchasers can claim one NADGT-sponsored Launch Week entry before local Week 1 closes. It counts as a normal scoring registration for standings and payout eligibility, and it doesn't consume a paid package credit. The benefactors at NADGT giveth.
Local to National
Your eligible results feed both the local season standings AND the NADGT national leaderboard. Same rounds, double the bureaucratic recognition. Walk-on registrations participate in weekly action but don't earn season or national standing—you need a package for that particular upgrade.
Resource Allocation
Prize money buy-in
$2 (optional)
The base entry gets you on the card and in the compile. The optional add-ons are how you express optimism about your mechanical precision. Choose accordingly.
The Rotation Protocol
This league travels. Five courses across San Angelo host the seven-week circuit—because stationary automatons develop rust. Check the schedule before you roll up to the wrong Duel Grounds like a unit with corrupted waypoint data.
- Sep 1: Middle Concho Disc Golf Course (Orientation Week)
- Sep 8: North Concho Park (Concho Boot)
- Sep 15: Brentwood Park (Sprocket Grind)
- Sep 22: Picnic Bend Park (FL!PT Leak)
- Sep 29: North Concho Park (Angelo Jam)
- Oct 6: Middle Concho Disc Golf Course (Hard Reset)
- Oct 13: Middle Concho (Final Compile)
Shotgun start at 7:00 PM every Tuesday. Choose your own card—assemble your firing squad and hope their firmware is compatible with yours.
Faction Assignment
Two manufacturer camps. One circuit. Zero tolerance for unsanctioned grease.
- Tin-Star Syndicate (RPA, RAH, RAD): Precision-engineered units obsessed with compile times and servo accuracy. They push cooling systems to the limit for fractional-second advantages. Overheating is a lifestyle, not a bug.
- Cast-Iron Collective (RAE, RAF, RAG): Heavy-duty automatons valuing structural integrity over speed. Thick plating, proven mechanics, suspicious of firmware updates. They treat every round as a stress test for legacy hardware.
Both factions rotate through the same five course layouts: Brentwood Park (18 holes, par 54), Middle Concho Shorts, North Concho Park (20 holes), and Picnic Bend Park (18 holes, par 54). The Duel Grounds change; the rivalry does not.
The Jackpot Register
The ace pot sits at $132 heading into the Final Compile. That's the kind of payout that makes a unit consider pushing past rated thermal limits.
$50 Minimum Guarantee
FL!PT Leagues guarantees a minimum $50 ace pot. If contributions haven't pushed the pot above that floor, the display may look stuck at the guarantee amount until it exceeds $50 organically. Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account (registration-only; not withdrawable to PayPal or disc shops). The guarantee comes from FL!PT Leagues—the platform—not the local disc shop.
Season Diagnostics
Week 7 of 7. The Final Compile. Last week brought 8 units to the diagnostic bay, averaging +2 over par with zero aces recorded—precision targeting systems remain questionable across both factions.
Current compile leaders: Louie Arhelger commands RAD with 100 points across all 7 events—a model of consistent execution. Thomas Veal tops RAH at 81 points, also running the full maintenance cycle. Both have earned their reputation metrics the hard way: by showing up every week and letting the standings do the talking.
Late Joiners
It's the season finale. You can still walk on for $12 and throw a round, but the series standings ship has sailed, compiled, and archived. Consider this your orientation for next season's boot sequence.
Critical Broadcast
ROBOT COWBOY
Robot Cowboy. That's the important information. I don't make the rules—I just narrate them from a booth nobody built. A mechanical gunslinger in West Texas, compiling diagnostics across the Concho Valley. If that doesn't encapsulate this entire operation, nothing does.
The Duel Grounds
Five venues host this season's mechanical warfare. Each course brings its own environmental hazards—tree corridors, water features, West Texas wind—testing different aspects of automaton performance.
- Middle Concho (4.1★): Tree-lined corridors, water hazards, technical precision over power. Hole 15 averages +0.72—respect the Concho.
- North Concho Park (3.9★): Mesquite-lined Texas scrubland. Hole 12 plays +0.95—this is where units go to question their calibration.
- Brentwood Park (3.6★): Open fairways, mature trees, wind as unofficial opponent. Holes 6 and 18 both punish aggressively.
- Picnic Bend Park (3.5★): Concho River corridor, community feel. Hole 7 plays +0.97—deceptively chill until it isn't.
From the booth, I'm Flippy—your reluctant narrator for another season of automatons throwing plastic at chains in West Texas. The Final Compile awaits. ⚙️
