Seven weeks of arboreal architecture collapse into permanent lore, and your narrator is feeling unexpectedly sentimental about the whole ritual—right before she remembers she's still trapped in this booth. Welcome to the Bryan Crown.
The NADGT Flex Season
This isn't just a league—it's a sanctioned stop on the National Amateur Disc Golf Tour. Richmond Ladies facilitates this Flex Season, and FL!PT Leagues powers the registration, standings, and payouts. You throw locally, you stand nationally. The ritual echoes upward.
- Walk-on rounds cost $12 exactly—no package is currently offered, so each week is pay-as-you-go
- Your division locks when you register and stays locked for the season
- Eligible results feed both local season standings AND the NADGT national leaderboard
- Walk-on entries play the round but don't earn season or national standing—you need a scoring registration for that
- Eligible early purchasers may claim one NADGT-sponsored Launch Week entry before Week 1 closes; it counts as a normal scoring registration without consuming a paid credit
The Bryan Crown
*adjusts headset* Week seven. The finale. The final putts vanish into twilight with the solemnity of a cathedral bell-ringer, and I'm supposed to narrate this like it's the season finale of prestige television. Which—fine. It kind of is. The tags find their final resting places tonight, sealing the season's memory until the canopy returns to green.
Bryan Park's autumn oaks have spent six weeks transforming into a Gothic cathedral of stone and shadow. The guild gathers one last time beneath the great arching entrance, ready to crown the season's architectural master amidst the falling gold. And yes, I just said 'architectural master' about someone who throws plastic at metal chains. This is what the theme has done to all of us.
Late Joiners Welcome
It's the finale, which means the standings are basically set—but a walk-on round still buys you one evening of Gothic glory at Bryan Park. Come for the cathedral fairways, stay for the ace pot.
The Factions
Two orders. One course. Very dramatic faction names that I absolutely did not make up.
- The High Masonic Order — Chaotic witches who embrace the corruption of the woods as necessary evolution. They amplify signal errors and cultivate viral data within the leaves, believing the forest's glitches are voices of old gods returning. Divisions: RPA, RAH, RAD.
- The Gargoyle Vanguard — Disciplined technomancers who view the forest's digital awakening as a system to be optimized. They seek to purge glitches and stabilize the canopy's server architecture. Divisions: RAE, RAF, RAG.
Both factions play the Bryan Park: RCLL Fall League layout. The witches versus the technomancers. What a time to be narrating disc golf.
The Standings Before the Crown
*checks clipboard* Let's see what the leaderboard cooked up heading into the finale. In RAF, Mary Keller sits on 84 points across 6 events—one point ahead of Colleen Dee's 83 from a full 7-event slate. One. Point. Colleen has played every week and Mary has a round in hand. This is the kind of storyline the sponsors dream about and I'm contractually required to narrate with gravitas.
Patti Joseph holds third at 24 points from 2 events—respectable for limited appearances, but this crown is a two-witch race.
Bryan Park — Richmond, Virginia
A 4.3-rated course that rewards power and shot-shaping in equal measure. Open fairways, water hazards, and the kind of strategic decision-making that turns a pleasant round into a character study. The autumn canopy transforms these corridors into nave-like aisles with ribbed vault ceilings of interlacing limbs. Gargoyle burls and deadfall guardians watch from hazard lanes. It's architectural, is what I'm saying. Very on-theme.
Signature Challenge
Hole 11 creek crossing (+0.15 vs par)
Breather Hole
Hole 12 (-0.42 vs par)
Character
Open with water hazards and shot-shaping demands
Layout
Two 9-hole loops for flexible play
Local knowledge: wind changes everything on this open layout. Course management beats raw power. And that creek on 11 has swallowed more discs than I've filed appeals—which is saying something.
The Seven-Week Ritual
Every Monday at Bryan Park. Flex starts from 4:30–4:50 PM, shotgun at 5:15 PM. The arc from threshold to crown, as ordained.
- Week 1 (Sep 7): Bryan Threshold — The guild assembles, initial tags distributed
- Week 2 (Sep 14): Richmond Arches — Competition intensifies along the longest corridors
- Week 3 (Sep 21): Wicked Guardians — Sentinel burls guard the par-threes
- Week 4 (Sep 28): Bryan Buttress — Mid-season peak on technical flying buttresses
- Week 5 (Oct 5): Richmond Tracery — Rose-window canopy gaps, dramatic light
- Week 6 (Oct 12): Keystone Chase — The elevated stone ridge, lead tags in balance
- Week 7 (Oct 19): Bryan Crown — Twilight finale, tags find their final resting places

The Ace Pot
The ace pot sits at $50, guaranteed by FL!PT Leagues. That means even if contributions haven't stacked it higher yet, the displayed amount holds at $50 because the platform backstops it. Once player contributions exceed the guarantee, the pot grows beyond $50. Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account (registration-only; not withdrawable to PayPal or disc shops). No ace hit last week, so the pot keeps waiting. It's very patient. Unlike me.
