The Shifting Norn appears as a tall, robed figure whose body is composed entirely of flowing fabric in constant motion. Where a face should be, three profiles emerge and dissolve in rotation—each one bearing the features of a different warrior from the current trial, shifting identity as the competition evolves. Colors cascade across the fabric like oil on water, transitioning from gold to purple to green as it observes the unfolding fate. The entity emits a low harmonic tone that changes pitch based on trial outcomes, and leaves no trace of its passing except in the memories of those who perceived it directly.
