Static Throne

The Static Throne was the original control platform for the Corrupted Codex's broadcast system - before the corruption, it rendered clean signals to all competitors. When the cascade failure began, the Throne absorbed the shockwave, transforming from pristine broadcasting equipment into a glitched seat of power that now judges from within static, its baroque ornamentation forever caught between HD rendering and low-poly decay.

Composed of frozen television static patterns arranged in an ornate baroque chair formation. The throne's surface shifts between HD clarity and low-poly static continuously, with gold filigree (#C5A059) flickering between crystal clarity and pixelated noise. Cyan energy (#00FFFF) pulses through hairline fractures in the seat. It serves as an antenna that receives and transmits the render-or-deletion commands to all competitors, and can only be perceived by those whose resolution is dropping toward deletion.

The Static Throne is where the Render Sovereign sits to render verdicts - it is the throne upon which judgment is delivered, hidden within the noise layer. Competitors who find themselves before the Static Throne are standing before the ultimate judgment authority of the deathmatch, and its verdict determines whether they achieve HD resolution or face deletion to static.
