Fractured Resolve

Fractured Resolve was born from the first player who ever survived elimination in the Arena's early days - a competitor who faced certain culling, whose mental composure shattered completely under the pressure, but who somehow completed the round with a fractured psyche. The fragments of that psychological collapse coalesced into a tag that now marks all who follow the same broken-but-not-defeated path.

A jagged, crystalline tag that appears to have been hastily reassembled from broken pieces. The fractures glow with inner light that pulses in rhythm with the bearer's heartbeat. When doubt increases, the fractures spread further across the surface; when resolve strengthens, the pieces fuse slightly tighter. The tag cannot be truly destroyed - only transferred to another who has faced their own psychological collapse.

Fractured Resolve provides its bearer with the strength to continue functioning despite psychological damage - granting resilience in moments when the crucible's pressure would break lesser minds. It serves as both badge of honor and warning: proof that the bearer has faced mental destruction and chosen to continue.
