Chain Breaker

The Chain Breaker does not exist until it is earned. When a raider accomplishes what the vault's hostile algorithm deems statistically impossible—a flawless round under duress, a victory snatched from certain elimination—the system itself manifests this tag. It is a permanent record of a broken limit, forged from the data of the impossible moment.

The tag is cold to the touch, leaching ambient warmth as if absorbing the energy of the broken constraint. It cannot be intentionally marred; any scratches or marks on its blackened surface appear spontaneously, mapping the bearer's most recent near-misses with failure. In low light, it casts a persistent, jagged shadow resembling broken links, regardless of the light source's angle.

It marks its bearer as a destabilizing legend, making them a priority target for both the vault's adaptive defenses and other raiders seeking to claim the tag's notoriety for themselves, thus influencing the dynamics of any league they enter.
