The Scar Testament emerged from the collective trauma of the vault - when enough raiders entered and survived, their accumulated near-misses created a supernatural echo. This echo manifested as a binding concept: those who survive enough close encounters begin to display visible marks that grow with each subsequent survival, creating a living testimony across time.
The Scar Testament manifests as raised, silvered marks that appear on the bearer's form, growing more numerous and pronounced with each survival. These marks cannot be transferred or faked - they are earned exclusively through personal survival of the vault's trials. When the bearer approaches the dragon's domain, the scars pulse with faint warmth, acknowledging their bond with the arena that created them.
