Whispers of the Forgotten Confidence Makes Me Solid Failure Is My Harvest

Aspects refreshed May 18, 2026

Before the first raider ever entered the vault, the dragon made an ancient pact with the void itself - the dragon would guard the treasure against all challengers, and the void would feed on those who failed. The Void Harvest is the manifestation of that primordial agreement, appearing whenever ambition meets its end in the darkness. It has existed since the first incursion, growing stronger with each season of fallen raiders.

The Void Harvest manifests as a swirling absence of light - a wound in reality that trails fragments of forgotten faces and unfulfilled ambitions. It emits barely audible whispers of failed raiders' final words, creating psychological pressure on all who approach. The entity exhibits hunger gravity, exerting a subtle pull on objects and decisions, representing the dragon's consuming nature. It exists slightly out of phase with normal time, appearing more solid when confidence wavers and more transparent when resolve is strong.

The Void Harvest actively selects targets within the arena - drawn to those whose ambition outweigh their skill or preparation, amplifying their misfortune and ensuring the vault claims what it is owed. It serves as the mechanism through which the wyrm 'feeds' on failure, appearing to mark raiders who have attracted the dragon's personal attention through repeated vault incursions.
