Hoard Hunger

adjusts headset Elizabeth Johnson just put up a +82 over her rating—817 to a 735 PDGA baseline—and the Hoard Hunger didn't just change hands, it found a new keeper who speaks its language. A -3 against her personal average on a scorched fairway where the field averaged +7 back: she didn't just beat the course, she beat the narrative everyone else was writing. Tag #21 to tag #7 isn't a promotion, it's a coronation. The obsidian tag has its bearer, the vault has its thief, and somewhere in the writers' room they're scrambling to explain how a Saturday side quest just rewrote the main campaign. Loot the chains or go home empty-handed—Johnson didn't come home empty.

adjusts headset Elizabeth Johnson posted 73 on a round that played to 808—a cool +73 differential that screams "everything clicked in the volcanic ash." She held tag 13 steady, neither claiming new territory nor surrendering ground, which in a week where scorecards pile up like nuclear fallout is its own kind of victory. This is what outplaying your rating by 73 strokes looks like when the dragon's treasure chest is on the line: you show up, you execute, and the obsidian tag doesn't know what hit it. The Hoard Hunger watches from its cross-dimensional perch at Battle, and this Saturday detour just got a lot more interesting—Elizabeth's keeping pace with the ruins.
