Root Anchor
Unmoved Since the Stump
Roots Run Deep, So Do Grudges
Aspects refreshed Jun 19, 2026
The first Root Anchor was carved from the original stump at Pier Park when the Stumptown Settlement was first established - the pioneer who drove it into the ground declared that their claim would hold as firmly as the tree that once stood there, and the land itself confirmed this vow by allowing the root to take hold in stone-hard clay.
Dark, gnarled root section with visible tendrils, heavy and solid to the touch, rough bark exterior with smooth interior rings visible, hints of moss growing in the crevices representing age and deep establishment.
Root Anchor serves as the ultimate defensive tag - holders cannot be displaced through normal competition because their claim has become structurally integral to the territory itself, representing the pinnacle of territorial establishment in the Stumptown Settlement.
