Joseph Martinez shot 64, 1.6 strokes above the 62.4 field average and 4.0 above his personal average; the 899 round rating was -25 below form against his 924 PDGA rating. Somehow, that below-form round still moved the Filibuster Force from tag 19 to tag 4, gaining 15 spots without losing one. The Senate’s Endless Voice keeps delaying the vote at Parked at Sunset, because apparently even a rough episode can produce a procedural landslide.

The Filibuster Force was born from the first endless speech delivered in the original Constitutional Convention, when a founding father spoke for 24 hours straight to prevent a vote on a contentious amendment. The energy of that speech crystallized into a force that persists in the Senate to this day, waiting to be wielded by any candidate desperate enough to refuse yield the floor.
The Filibuster Force radiates endless sound waves that visually represent continuous speech, appearing as ripples in the air around the wielder. It causes other tags to slowly lose momentum when in proximity, their energy drained by the endless procedural pressure. When deployed, it creates a visible speech trail like a contrail, showing the accumulated weight of all the words spoken in its name.
The Filibuster Force serves as both weapon and curse - its wielder can survive any political attack by refusing to yield the floor, but the power slowly drains them over time. Candidates must end debates quickly or be consumed by their own endless speech, creating high-stakes drama around when and how to deploy this devastating but dangerous force.
