Aspects refreshed Jul 04, 2026

Legend tells that when the first pioneers drove their axes into the PNW wilderness, the land itself responded by sending roots deep into the earth to connect all future claims. The Root Network emerged as the spiritual infrastructure of the Stumptown Settlement - invisible to those who only look at the surface, but absolutely essential to understanding true territorial power. It grows stronger with each new claim staked, each boundary defended, each challenger turned away.

The tag appears to pulse with a faint green glow when other players with significant territorial holdings are nearby. The tag's texture changes based on the holder's network position - more connections result in more complex root-like patterns etched into its surface. The tag can only be fully seen under direct sunlight, revealing hidden root-patterns that indicate network strength and territorial reach. These patterns shift and grow over time, documenting the holder's journey through the settlement's competitive landscape.

The Root Network represents the accumulated territorial relationships between all players in the settlement - holders who understand the network can exploit connections between seemingly separate claims. This creates a meta-strategy layer where understanding relationships between claims across different leagues becomes as important as individual territorial defense.
