Ink Tempest

Before the first warrior entered the Canopy Dojo, before the first Ace was thrown, there was only blank mulberry paper stretching to infinity. The Ink Tempest swept across this void, and where its brushstrokes touched, the jungle arena awoke - each leaf a brushmark, each vine a flowing line, each predator a shadow-image born from ink.

The Ink Tempest manifests as a massive, swirling vortex of black and Prussian Blue (#003153) ink that moves against the wind, towering above the canopy like a living storm. Its form constantly shifts - one moment resembling a great wave about to crash, the next taking the shape of a predator lunging through undergrowth. It leaves temporary brushstroke marks on everything it passes, creating the appearance of woodblock texture wherever it manifests. The entity cannot be captured or contained - only witnessed.

The Ink Tempest serves as the chaotic creative force that ensures no two battles in the canopy are ever identical, breathing fresh artistic energy into each Wednesday night. It is the unifying artistic force that connects all leagues together - each Wednesday is simply a different brushstroke in its eternal Ukiyo-e artwork.
