Feral Veil

The Feral Veil was born from the first tournament in the Canopy Dojo - when two warriors faced each other and the jungle air itself split between their competing auras, creating a shimmering membrane that now separates the mundane from the predatory, existing as a living record of every transformation that has ever occurred in the arena.

The Feral Veil manifests as a shimmering vertical plane of layered organic material, like stacked rice paper soaked in moonlight, reaching twenty feet high between ancient banyan trees at the arena's entrance. It pulses with a heartbeat rhythm that intensifies during close competitions, and leaves temporary claw-like markings on those who pass through - streaks that fade but remember. The Veil is iridescent green-gold, shifting with the time of night, and those who look closely can see their own predatory form staring back from within its depths.

The Feral Veil serves as the threshold guardian of the Canopy Dojo - every competitor must pass through it to enter the arena, and in doing so, they shed their ordinary identity to become hunters.
