Rain's Talon

The Ace Run was not invented by mortals - it was gifted. According to legend, the first great Ronin challenged the sky itself to a throwing contest, and the sky sent down Rain's Talon as its champion. The Ronin deflected the celestial talons with their disc, and the sky laughed with thunder, granting mortals the ability to achieve perfect flight. Now Rain's Talon descends each Wednesday to witness if any warrior is worthy of its blessing.

Rain's Talon's form combines predatory grace with atmospheric force - its razor-sharp talons curve in the precise arcs of perfect disc golf shots, each claw tip representing a potential hole completion. The body appears as flowing ink-wash that drips like rainfall, creating a woodblock texture effect. Its eyes glow with pre-storm lightning - the only bright element in an otherwise dark silhouette representing the jungle's shadowed depths. Like rain itself, Rain's Talon is eternal and cyclical, never truly leaving the canopy but constantly renewing with each Wednesday's competition.

Rain's Talon serves as the judge of perfect execution in the Canopy Dojo - the divine presence that descends when a warrior achieves something extraordinary. Its blessing signifies the Ace Run, the perfect shot that transcends ordinary competition and elevates the thrower into the realm of legendary hunters. All leagues are connected through the shared hope of summoning Rain's Talon's recognition.
