The Fractured Echo was born from the first delver to achieve legendary status in three different leagues simultaneously. During the Great Season, when the Underdark's boundaries thinned, a mercenary named Vex the Versatile won championships in the Surface Raid League, the Deep Cavern Circuit, and the Shadow Tournament all in the same year. Their competitive spirit became so powerful it shattered the boundaries between competitive narratives, leaving behind this residual echo that now allows worthy holders to replicate this achievement.

The Fractured Echo manifests as a crystalline disc that appears to be shattered but held together by invisible forces. Each fragment pulses with a different colored light - vibrant green, burning gold, and deep amber - representing the different leagues of the Underdark. The fragments shift position randomly, as if the tag itself is uncertain which form to take. When held, the artifact creates a subtle harmonic hum that sensitive delvers can sense, and it feels warm to the touch when the holder achieves victory in any connected league. The crystalline fractures visibly shift based on the holder's combined performance across all leagues.
