Hungry Forest

The Hungry Forest was born when the first Ronin of the Green entered the primeval jungle and shed their ordinary skin to become a predator. The forest consumed their weakness and grew in power, and has been feeding on competitive hunger ever since - each Wednesday night tournament feeds its insatiable appetite, and in return, the forest sustains the hierarchical ecosystem that defines the Canopy Dojo.

Massive tree trunks wrapped in bark etched with patterns resembling Ukiyo-e woodblock prints, the bark showing scenes of past competitions in intricate detail. Hollows within the ancient trees glow faintly with captured competitive spirits - the residual energy of defeated warriors. Vines move with predatory intention, reaching toward passing discs as if hungry for more. A canopy so dense that only scattered light penetrates, and roots that span between league venues, connecting all Wednesday night competitions into one continuous hungry ecosystem.

The Hungry Forest consumes the competitive spirit of those who lose and feeds it to the apex predator at the top of the hierarchy, sustaining the chain of dominance that defines the Canopy Dojo.
