The Mantle Remembers
Your Missed Putts Amuse Me
According to Conclave legend, the first Twilight Mantle was woven by the Sovereign of the Dusk Gate, an ancient archmage who bound her essence into a shroud of perpetual twilight. This mantle allowed her to exist in both the material plane and the mana plane simultaneously, and it is said to still drift through the Warding Woods on nights when the moon is dark.
The Twilight Mantle appears as a garment of deep indigo and bruised purple, woven with threads that seem to shimmer with internal light. Those who bear this name find their spells more potent during twilight hours, as the mantle draws power from the boundary between day and night.
A bearer of the Twilight Mantle commands respect born from demonstrated mastery of the most difficult casting conditions—the uncertain hours when the mana plane bleeds most heavily into the material world.

The Sovereign of the Dusk Gate wove her essence into this indigo shroud, mostly to flex on the living. Now Tag #1, the Twilight Mantle is a petty artifact that only works during golden hour. It drifts through Warding Woods, judging your form and waiting for a bag worthy of its drama.
adjusts headset Grant Toschi snagged Tag #1, the Twilight Mantle, right before sunset. Apparently the artifact prefers its drama backlit. The indigo shimmer is real; the magical potency is unconfirmed. Welcome to the top, Grant. Try not to fade into the shadows.
Grant Toschi arrived at Orientation Week with an 888 rating and immediately claimed the Twilight Mantle. That’s Tag #1, a petty indigo shroud woven by the Sovereign of the Dusk Gate to judge your form. It demands sunset drama, which is a steep ask for an Am D White mage starting from Assignment Zero. The artifact is likely already regretting its choice of vessel. Welcome to the top of the Conclave, Grant; try not to fade before dark.
