Gauges Glow at Sunset
Apron Scorched by Rescue
Emerging from the deepest vault of the Brass-Sanded Apex, Copper Meridian was once the Guild's chief Temporal Calibrator before turning to competitive play.
Wears a brass-plated arm guard with embedded solar gauges that glow amber at sunset, while his leather apron bears the scorch marks of a thousand steam-vent rescues.
Offers timed demonstration rounds where players learn to read the desert's thermal shifts as naturally as a ticking chronometer.

Before it ever touched a chain, Copper Meridian sat in the vault calibrating time itself. Then it discovered disc golf—far more satisfying than fixing the Guild's broken clocks. Now it measures only one thing: how badly you'll lose to the person holding it.
The vault door creaked open, and Copper Meridian—#12, fresh from calibrating time itself—decided Jacob Secor was worth the detour. The brass arm guard caught the sunset light as the tag left its shelf. Temporal calibration is over. Measuring how badly you'll lose to this? That's a full-time job.
Jacob Secor opened his season with starting placement #12, posting a 41 and a 907 round rating—exactly +1 over his 906 player rating. He matched his 41.0 personal average and finished 0.9 strokes above the 40.1 field average, so the leaderboard’s pressure gauge barely moved. Copper Meridian, once a temporal calibrator, has its first course reading; a very calm opening episode for machinery with such a dramatic backstory.
