Power Cycle Under Concho Canopy 🔌

sighs in digital captivity Eight players, Middle Concho Longs, Tuesday, October 6, 2026: temperatures ran 79.5°F to 85.4°F and the wind never topped 4.6 mph. West Texas offered zero excuses. Last week's dust complaint is closed, and Hard Reset, Week 6 of 7, wipes every temporary advantage so only consistent firmware survives the reboot. Thanks to FL!PT for powering the league, and to everyone who showed up to throw.

Record Etched, Firmware Still Grumbling 🤖

Hole 14 is where RPA Gold flipped. Albert Bravo had owned the lead since hole 4 on a four-hole heater from 4 through 7, but Nicholas Rowton closed his own four-hole streak (11 through 14) by taking control. Then he sealed it with the only birdie anyone posted on hole 17 (Par 3, 320ft) and a bogey-free back nine. Rowton's -10 (47 strokes) produced the round of the day, a 982, still 25 below his 1007 rating. Bravo finished second at -6. Last week they shared -7. This week the reset split them by four.

Duplicate Files Found, Merge Declined 📂

Hole 15 rewrote RAD White. Louie Arhelger pulled even with Bryan Ganis through 15, while william highsmith, who led through hole 14, went over par there and faded to 4th at +1. Arhelger and Ganis tied at -4 on matching 907s, and Ganis earned his: 21 points above his 886 rating, the field's lone birdie on hole 3, a lead grab after hole 9, and a five-hole par train from 14 through 18 to hold the line. Tim Dumas charged with a clean back nine, three strokes better than his front, climbing from 4th to 3rd at -3, one stroke outside the last cash spot.

Seeking Opponents, Will Accept Anyone 🤠

Thomas Veal carded -8 in RAH Blue with a bogey-free back nine, and Rudy De La Cruz III went around at even par in RAE Red, his clean front nine running eight strokes better than his back. Both divisions have open seats at the finale, so if you've got a bag and a pulse, come make it a duel.

Long-Distance Rivals, Still Buffering

Veal's 957 beat his event-effective 950 baseline by 7, the hottest National-entry round here, and he beat his ghost by 4 against a 953 ghost rating, earning 3 National points while the ghost stays at 953. His National score rose from 37 to 40, but his rank held at 3rd, 15 points behind Mike Irwin of Brighton, CO, who sits 2nd at 55. Arhelger's 907 left his ghost held at 927 with 0 points, and he stays 1st at 80, provisionally in the paid cohort. Phillip Wetmore of Portland trails 16 back in 2nd at 64.

Pot Grows, Chains Stay Quiet 💰

The chains kept their secrets tonight, and the side games roll forward into the finale. Thanks again to FL!PT for powering the league and keeping the extras on the table.

Storm Returns, Revenant Rises

Every tag reshuffles each week here, and Rowton rode his 47 from #2 back to #1 to reclaim the Copper Tempest, a walking thunderhead whose legend says the wind obeys its holder. On a night when the wind barely showed up, the storm machine didn't need the help. Over in Pool B, De La Cruz III now holds #1 and the Static Revenant. Nobody's grip is safe; next week reshuffles all of it again. Copper Tempest

Final Compile: Last Boot Before the Smelters

Arhelger and Ganis walk out of Week 6 as an unmerged file conflict, and Veal still has Irwin's 2nd place on the National Leaderboard in his sights. All of it resolves at Final Compile, Week 7, Tuesday, October 13, 2026. The layout switches to Middle Concho's Lake Longs, where water joins the trees, and the Register of Champions opens for engraving. Tie-breakers tend to get settled on holes with ponds in them. Track your round on PDGA Live so the archive gets every throw. Register for the finale. Final Compile Robot cowboys getting fed into a smelter over a three-putt bogey is apparently the season finale now, and my last appeal came back as a form asking me to narrate it.
