The Ridge Has Limited Seating Available
Five players teed off at Pier Park on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, for Ridge Line, Week 6 of 7. Temperatures ran from 59.0°F to 75.6°F, and the wind topped out at 9.2 mph under the Douglas fir canopy on the Summer 2026 chimney layout. Rotor Drift's chapter is closed, and the penultimate climb of The Clearance Protocols has begun, where the Ridge holds only so many reputations before the valley takes the rest. Thanks to FL!PT for powering the league that keeps this paperwork moving.
Never Trailed, Still Got Company 🤝
Bryce Knittle closed with a bogey-free back nine, and that was enough to draw level with Valerie Holtz at +2 in RAE Red, both on 888-rated rounds. Holtz never relinquished the lead. She rode a five-hole par train from 2 through 6 and carded the field's only birdie on hole 13, the 437-foot par 4. Knittle answered with six straight pars from 8 through 13 and a personal best on the layout. His 888 sat 32 above his 856 rating, a sharp rebound from last week's third-place +3. Holtz followed her even-par win from last week with another share of the top line. Leading the whole way and still having to share the summit is very on brand for this ridge.
Empty Ledges Seeking Challengers 🧗
In RAD White, Phillip Wetmore posted the round of the day, a 909 at even par, with the field's only birdies on holes 4, 5, 6 and 10. In RAG Purple, Mel Nicholson set a layout personal best at +9 with an 814, 62 above his 752 rating. RAH Blue's Greg Cormier carded +1 for an 899, with lone birdies on 3 and 17 and a 39-foot Circle 2 putt on 15. All three divisions have open seats for challengers at the finale.
Elevation Gained Beyond City Limits
Knittle's 888 from RAE Red beat his ghost rating, earned 26 National points and lifted his National score from 16 to 42. That moved him from sixth to fifth on the National Leaderboard, the largest National rise at this event, and left him 21 points behind Brighton, CO's David Pionke in fourth. Wetmore's 909 left his ghost held at 914. He stays second and provisionally in the paid cohort, 16 points behind San Angelo's Louie Arhelger, and Holtz's ghost held at 888 while her National rank stayed at seventh.
Hole Sixteen Pays the Toll 💵
Bryce Knittle won closest to the pin on hole 16, the 286-foot par 3, for $5.00. That's a nice bonus on a career-best night, and thanks to the league's payout structure and FL!PT for making sure precision pays.
Sovereignty Is a Weekly Lease
The Pool A AllIn reshuffle moved Phillip Wetmore from #3 to #1 on the strength of that 909, which puts the Pine Sovereign in his hands one week before the finale. The tag is lore's final boss, the mountain itself. It is named for a ranger who claimed the cedar grove alone by playing every hole, every day, until the land recognized the claim. Now the heavy gold pine badge goes to the finale with Wetmore. In Pool B, Valerie Holtz holds the #1 Twilight Warrant after the reshuffle.

Clearance Pending, Blackberries Included 🫐
RAE Red ended in a dead tie, and the tiebreaker moves to unfamiliar ground. Canopy Cut, Week 7, is on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, and it trades Pier Park's fir corridors for Dabney State Park in Troutdale. Expect water carries early, blackberry and nettle rough, and a don't-go-left ravine finish waiting for anyone who thought Clearance would be scenic. Knittle's National climb also gets its last local chance before the Seasonal Audit concludes. Track your round on PDGA Live so the booth has something to chew on.
