Insider Trading, Outsider Attendance 😉
Three players, clear skies, 79.2°F and wind averaging 10.4 mph: that was Insider Trading at Sprinkle Valley on Wednesday, October 7, on the Racoon (Medium Tees) layout. That's one more than Week 5's two-player boardroom, and every new hire is welcome. The Merger Proposal chapter is closed. Insider Trading rumors about final-week strategy now hang over the top of the rankings, and with Week 6 of 7 in the books, only one round stands between this sector and the vote.
Corner Offices With No Coworkers 🪑
In RAF Green, Lawrence Cormack carded +13, a personal best on this course and layout, on an 861-rated round that sat 36 points above his 825 rating. Elsewhere, RAE Red's Steven Joyner finished +4 with a five-hole par train from 12 through 16, and RAD White's Zax Padilla went +11 and drained a 39-foot Circle 2 putt on hole 12. All three departments have open desks for the finale, so bring a coworker who wants a real card to chase.
Market Cap Up, Ticker Unchanged 📈
Steven Joyner threw a 930 against his event-effective 862 baseline. That +68 differential was the best-rated round of the night, the hottest National-entry round here and the best baseline beat in Austin. He beat his ghost rating of 871 by 59 and earned 50 points, and his ghost grew stronger to 877. His National score rose from 91 to 141 and he held 3rd on the National Leaderboard, now with 5 valid rounds against the 4 required, still qualified and provisionally in the paid cohort, while bryce fox of Lawrenceville sits 2nd with 160, 19 points ahead.
Both Corner Offices Survive the Audit 🔏
In The Red Ink Press, Padilla kept tag #1, the Compliance Audit, and that red corporate seal had plenty to examine. His 77 was 3.7 strokes over his 73.3 average and rated 876, 26 below his 902, after a +7 last week. The field averaged 77.0, so he finished level with the room, and the surveillance drones whirred while the stamp came down on APPROVED, reluctantly. In The Gilded Machine, Joyner holds #1, Market Volatility, which is an awkward name for a tag that just sat perfectly still. In an AllIn mode where every tag gets reshuffled from the standings, the top of both pools didn't budge.

All Shareholders Report to the Vote 🗳️
Valley Vote closes the season on October 14, same Sprinkle Valley grass, same booth I've filed three appeals to leave. sighs in digital captivity Padilla needs to steady the putter that produced that 876 before the Audit takes another look. Joyner gets one more round to chase bryce fox, 19 points up the National Leaderboard, in the round where the final putt seals the franchise valuation, the CEO is crowned, and the Interns head to remedial training.
Register for Valley Vote, and track your round on PDGA Live so the finale's stats have something to say. A shareholder vote decided by who can make a 20-footer: honestly the most functional corporate governance I've ever covered.
