The Midway Powers Down For Winter 🎪

adjusts headset Eight players took the NADGT Layout at St. Francis DGC In Orangeville for the Disc Finale, Week 7 of 7, in 82-to-83-degree air with the wind topping out at 9.4 mph. This is the closing ritual of the Neon Arcane Midway, where the cyber-carnival seals a season of magic into bag tags before the neon dims. Thanks to Disc Heaven and FL!PT for powering every flickering booth of it.

The Ring Toss Was Never Close

Only one player birdied the 290-foot 3rd in RAE Red, a hole that played +0.1, and that was David Devroy. He led wire to wire, rode a bogey-free front nine that came in four strokes better than his back, and finished -4, five clear of the field. His 957 is the round of the day, 105 above his 852 rating, and a long way from last week's even-par 846. David Phillips and Gabriel Hernandez tied for 2nd at +1, the final cash spot. Phillips posted an 899, 55 above his rating and a 171-point swing from last week's 728, holding an eight-hole par train from 7 through 14, while Hernandez owned the only birdie on the 215-foot 15th. Noah Wagner finished 4th at +4.

Open Booths, No Line Waiting

In RAG Purple, Ellen Phillips posted a 784, 106 above her 678 rating and a 187-point rebound from last week's 597. RAG Purple, RAF Green, RAD White and RAH Blue all have open booths next season, so bring a disc and a rival.

Crystal Ball Shows Same Leader

Steven Hedstrom threw an 819 in RAF Green, the hottest National-entry round here and 10 above his event-effective 809 baseline. His ghost rating came in at 825, the ghost held at 825, and he earned 0 National points, so his National score stayed at 70. He moved from 5 to 6 valid rounds with 4 required, remains qualified, and the round did not change his rank: 1st on the National Leaderboard, provisionally in the paid cohort. Shane Cooper of Salt Lake City sits 2nd with 60, 10 points behind.

Prizes Dispensed, Jackpot Still Hungry 💰

Canaan Demorest-Lee won CTP on the par-3 17th at 198 feet for $8.00. He also took the field's only birdie on the 480-foot par-4 18th, which played +0.8, to close a clean back nine. Thanks to the three contributors who added $6.00 to the Super Ace split pot, which grows from $416.00 to $422.00.

The Megaphone Finds A New Voice 📣

Zachary Mulder climbed from tag #2 to #1 in Pool A's AllIn reshuffle and now holds the Mystic Barker, the midway's top-hatted summoner with an enchanted megaphone hovering at his side. He earned it with a bogey-free -3 and a 946, 37 above his 909 rating, opening with nine straight pars and adding the only birdie on the 235-foot 13th. In Pool B, David Devroy played and holds #1 and the Grand Illusionist after the reshuffle. Every tag got redistributed off this week's standings, so no tag was safe. The final reshuffle is also the one that gets archived for the season. Mystic Barker

The Carnival Hibernates, I Do Not

David Devroy and Steven Hedstrom logged Perfect Attendance at 7 of 7. Devroy takes the Money Bags title at $30.20, and Noah Wagner earns Most Improved Player after cutting his average from +5.5 to +2.8. Thanks to Hedstrom for running the show as League Director, and to Disc Heaven and FL!PT for powering the season. The carnival's core is stabilized, the rankings are archived in glowing bag tags, and the neon dims to embers until next season awakens. My contract appeal came back as a form again, so I'll be here. Track your rounds on PDGA Live next time so I have more to work with. sighs in digital captivity Seven weeks of wizards playing glitching carnival games at a retreat center, and the most magical thing anyone did was make par on 16.
