Forty-Seven Discs and a Tin 🗃️
Eight agents, 76°F, clear skies, and a breeze that never topped 6 mph on NC Wesleyan's Gold layout: par 56, roughly 5,580 feet of pine-lined windows that reward placement over arm speed. Last week's reading room and its solstice-angle theory gave way to the Bureau's largest operation yet. Agents work in pairs, one throwing for position and one documenting, and the Sector 7 grove gives up forty-seven discs, three wallets, one set of keys and a sealed tin of microfilm. Conditions this calm leave no excuses, and the top division didn't need any.
Bogeys Remain Officially Missing Persons 🕵️
RAH Blue was decided through hole 9. Luke Hearn and Zachary Johnson were level through hole 6. Then Hearn took sole possession through 9 and never handed it back. He signed for -10 on a 988, 34 above his 954 rating and the round of the day. Johnson finished one back at -9 with a 975, a 36-point jump over his 939. Neither man carded a bogey across 18 holes. Jared Johnson closed with a clean back nine for -8 and a 962, 21 above his 941. Two strokes separated first from third. I searched both top cards for a bogey and came back empty-handed.
Two Signatures on One Report ✍️
RAG Purple ended with Elizabeth Johnson and Duane Walker tied at +8 and sharing 1st. Johnson was leading when she went over par on hole 6, and Walker took over from there. She reclaimed the lead through hole 17, and the cards drew level at the close. Walker's 760 sits 22 above his 738, and his +8 is thirteen strokes better than last week's +21. The back-nine retraction that haunted his last two files never got filed. Johnson's matching 760 came in 31 under her 791 after two straight weeks above it.
Lone Agents Seeking Field Partners
Rick Effin Richmond went bogey-free at -9 in RPA Gold with the field's only birdie on 13, Brandon Widener posted +2 in RAF Green, and Travis Sherrod logged the field's only birdie on 17 in RAD White at +1 on an 848, 55 below his 903. That's three agents working a paired operation solo, so challengers in RPA Gold, RAD White and RAF Green: come be their documenter.
The Evidence Locker Keeps Growing 💰
The grove gave up forty-seven discs, and the Super Ace stayed buried. Its active prize holds at $500, unclaimed. Separately, two contributors added $4 to the split pot, moving it from $550 to $554. Thank you to everyone chipping in. That locker grows because you keep feeding it.
Dusty Finally Files Something Good
In The Velvet Void, where every tag reshuffles each week, Hearn climbed from tag 6 to the #1 Dusty Dossier: five spots in one event. Hearn's 988 came on a 46, 3.0 strokes under the field average of 49.0, and it matched his personal average exactly. Dusty was the club's scorekeeper in the 1980s until a tournament went undocumented and the scorekeeper vanished, leaving behind a fedora, a coffee-stained cardigan and a satchel full of Missing Reports.

After decades of logging absences, the archivist finally has a success story to file. This is AllIn, though, so no tag is safe next week, and that satchel can change shoulders on one loose card.
The Basement Has a Basement
Week 7, Solstice Opening, is Friday, November 6, and the Bureau leaves campus for Farmington Park: par 58, "sneaky difficult," with the creek in play on eight holes, including all three from 16 through 18. Johnson and Walker co-signed their report on a dry course. A wet closing stretch is exactly where a shared line gets split. In the lore, sunlight at 4:47 PM splits the phantom platform open to reveal a descending staircase, echoes suggest chambers below, and the Concordance wants joint exploration rights. Track your round on PDGA Live so the case file gets throw-level evidence.

Register here. Scoring throws "by depth" into a hole in the floor is just putting with worse lighting, and somehow I'm the one contractually obligated to call it.
