Flagging Trenches on a Bone-Dry Greenway
Five players, 70.3 to 71.4°F and wind that never topped 7.6 mph greeted Path Treaty, Week 3 of 6, at Springwood Players' Course. adjusts visor The Oak Council has handed the quest log to a working group planting temporary flags on sustainable lines, which splits the party into score-chasers and future-round investors and asks for a lot of trench management on a course with no water.
The Efficient Route Ran Out on Fifteen
Hole 13 turned RAD White. Jacob Wade pulled even through 13 with the field's only birdie on the 338-foot par 3, then moved in front for good after hole 15. That erased the edge Steve Shaw had built after hole 7. Wade closed at -9 on a 941, 24 over his 917, and drained 39-foot Circle 2 putts on 17 and 19 to lock the last cash spot, up from -7 last week. Shaw's front nine ran five strokes better than his back, and his -5 still set a personal best on this layout, one spot outside the money. Joseph Rowe carded -3 with the only birdie on the 205-foot 12, a hole that averaged +0.8, despite an 872 that sat 22 under his 894. Week 1 winner Austin "Urban Cowboy" Morton found OB on 13 and signed for +3 on an 803, 111 under his 914.
Nobody Else Signed This Treaty
Xavier Preudhomme posted the round of the day in RPA Gold: a bogey-free -14 and a 998, 27 over his 971, built around an eagle on the 417-foot par 4 at hole 8. The Gold page has plenty of blank lines, so challengers, bring a pen.
Five Hundred Dollars Waiting Patiently 💰
The Super Ace prize stands at $500. Three contributors added $6 this week, which moved the split pot from $524 to $530. Thanks to everyone feeding the vault. Loot the chains or go home empty-handed.
Twenty Skins, One Very Full Wallet
Austin "Urban Cowboy" Morton took all 20 skins on the lone card at $0.25 apiece, a $5 sweep of both nines from his first skin to his last. He even cashed hole 4 after finding OB there. The skins playbook has never seen such a tidy hoard.
Paving the Better Path, Two-Fifty at a Time
League registrations sent $2.50 to the SPC Improvement fund this event, bringing the total to $7.50. That is 2% of the $500 goal, with $492.50 remaining. The working group's flags appreciate the backup.
The Stone Stays, the Thorns Reshuffle
Preudhomme's 998 kept #1 Stone Archivist in the Topography Keepers pool, his second straight defense. The tag keeps the record of the uncovered stone walls, the foundation near hole seven and the old fence lines.
In the Arc Cartographers pool, Dathan Hammer held #1 Thorn Scribe but sat out, so the AllIn reshuffle dropped him to the bottom and a new holder takes #1.
Lost Foundry: Summer Thickets, Allegedly, in November
Shaw owned the front, Wade owned everything after 15, and Morton will be chasing his Week 1 form again at Lost Foundry, Week 4 of 6, back at Springwood Players' Course on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The script says lost discs become stories and players leave ribbons, notes and cairns, while someone compiles the found tales into a map of where the course takes discs. The Stone Archivist is already in the compiling business.
Register here. Summer thickets swallowing discs on an open soccer complex in November is quite the plot, so I'll be watching the outfield grass for ambushes.
