Welcome back to the booth. The wind has died, the sails are slack, and the fleet is drifting nowhere fast. It's Week 7: The Doldrums.
The Aquatic Expansion
The Moist Towel Disc Golf Club presents the next phase of pioneer evolution: we bought boats. The land rush is over, and the water rush has begun at Sain Scoggins. We are treating this serene lakeside course like a high-stakes naval battlefield. Sailboats sail over a crystal clear lake as discs fly through the air to disc golf baskets on the other ships. Is it logistically possible? Who cares. The sponsors want a show.
Week 7: The Doldrums
*sighs in digital captivity* We are officially becalmed. The 'Ghost Ship' spooked everyone last week, and now the fleet has stalled. Supplies are low. The standings are a traffic jam I can't route around. This is the week where mental fortitude beats physical skill—mostly because everyone is too bored to move.
