The War of the Diadochi reaches its final convocation. Seven weeks of wax-seal accumulation, bureaucratic succession, and plastic hurled at chains in the name of imperial legitimacy—all of it comes down to this: one last Wednesday at Alexander Park where the throne will be occupied by whoever's paperwork proved most robust.
The Throne Session
*sighs in digital captivity* And so we arrive at the final seal-stamping session. I have documented six weeks of Byzantine court intrigue—rival camps consolidating holdings, provincial dark horses emerging, wax seals changing hands with what I can only describe as administrative fury—only to watch it all boil down to one last Wednesday night in Lawrenceville. The chrysobulls are stamped. The claims are weathered. Someone is about to inherit Alexander's legacy through the most time-honored method available: throwing discs at metal baskets and having the best numbers about it.
Final Week
This is Week 7 of 7—the Throne Session. All accumulated claims are weighed. The ultimate seal of authority awaits. Also it's Wednesday league at 5:30 PM. Choose your own card, shotgun start. The empire expects punctuality.
How the Season Works
This isn't just some weekly throw-and-hope situation. The Alexander Park Disc Golf Club is facilitating a locally sanctioned stop in the NADGT (National Amateur Disc Golf Tour) National League program. FL!PT Leagues powers the registration, standings, and payouts. You throw locally, you stand locally, and your eligible results also feed the NADGT national leaderboard—because apparently even disc golf has geopolitical reach now.
- Walk-on rounds cost exactly $12—your cover charge for bureaucratic legitimacy
- Season packages lock your division for the entire season; choose wisely, because the court does not accept transfer petitions
- Package members compete in local season standings AND feed the NADGT national leaderboard with eligible results
- Walk-on registrations get you the round, the vibes, and the optional buy-ins—but not season or national standing
- Weekly competition is gross stroke play over the completed selected layout (minimum 18 holes) within your division
- Season standings use rating-benchmark points, because even ancient empires needed a standardized scoring metric
- Eligible early purchasers may claim one NADGT-sponsored Launch Week entry before local Week 1 close—it counts in standings and doesn't consume a paid package credit
The Factions
Alexander Park's court is divided between two rival factions, because of course it is. This isn't just disc golf—it's a bureaucratic cold war with baskets.
Driftwood Syndicate
RPA, RAH, RAD — Short Tees. A ragtag collective thriving in the overgrown rough and weathered shadows. They wear 'Driftwood' as a badge of honor, valuing resilience and chaotic reality over synthetic polish. Basically the provincial warlords.
Canopy Consortium
RAE, RAF, RAG — Short Tees. The elite research faction controlling 'beachfront' territories and pristine fairways. They view the course as a sterile laboratory for performance analytics and corporate order. The aristocracy, obviously.

The Imperial Ace Pot
The ace pot currently sits at $50.00, and here's where it gets interesting: FL!PT Leagues guarantees a minimum $50 ace pot. That means the displayed amount can look 'stuck' at $50 until player contributions push it higher. Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account (registration-only; not withdrawable to PayPal or disc shops). The guarantee comes from FL!PT Leagues—the platform—because even empires need a financial backstop.
The War of the Diadochi — Final Standings
After six ceremonial assemblies, the court's hierarchy has crystallized. Chris Griffin commands the Canopy Consortium's RAE division with 123 points across all seven events—a chrysobull in human form, basically. Bryce fox holds second with 62 points from six events, having apparently spent one week negotiating in the provinces. Over in the Driftwood Syndicate's RPA division, Griffin Fox sits atop with 73 points and a perfect seven-event attendance record. Loyalty to the court has its rewards.
Throne Session Stakes
This is the final week. Every round counts. The throne will be occupied, the ultimate seal bestowed, and next season's claims will begin their slow accumulation in the quiet bureaucracy of the off-season. Show up. Throw well. Stamp your authority.

Season
September 2 – October 14, 2026 (7 weeks)
Location
Alexander Park, Lawrenceville, Georgia
Alexander Park — The Contested Territory
Alexander Park is a 4.3-star rated (UDisc, 3,400+ reviews) 18-hole course on gently rolling Georgia terrain that balances open wind-swept fairways with technical wooded shots. Short tees are the field of battle for both factions this season. The dual-tee system and skill-based par make it uniquely accommodating—because even rival warlords appreciate fair governance.
- Hole 17 — The Pond Hole: The course's biggest risk. A pond that has claimed more discs than the empire has provinces. Play it safe or take the swim.
- Hole 11 — The Monster: Statistically the hardest hole at +0.75 over par on average. A true test of imperial resolve.
- Hole 9 — The Gift: Counterintuitively named, as it plays +1.00 over par for most. The empire giveth, the empire taketh.
- Multiple pin positions rotated frequently—keep the court on its toes.
- Wind on open holes is highly variable. Bring discs for multiple shot shapes. The weather does not respect your claim.
Late to the Convocation?
It's Week 7. The final session. The last chance to stamp your seal and have it mean something in the standings. You can still walk on for $12, play the round, chase the ace pot, and experience the Throne Session in all its bureaucratic glory. You won't earn season standing as a walk-on, but you will earn the right to say you were there when the throne was claimed. Sometimes that's enough.
