About This League
Friday flex @ Nash CC. Week 10: The Final Acquisition. Corporate raiders & dragon riders clash for the Iron Hoard. 7am-5:20pm. 🐉💼
Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
The fiscal year ends at Nash Community College. It's Week 10: The Final Acquisition. The corporate raiders are circling, the dragon riders are mounting up, and the interns are... well, hopefully avoiding the culling.
Hostile Takeover in Progress
Welcome to the Iron Hoard, where we treat a casual Friday round like a merger negotiation between Sauron and Warren Buffett. We've got dragons, elves, weapons, dragon riders, and dragon slayers all fighting for territory on a college campus. It's 'LARPing' for people who understand aerodynamics.
Nash Community College offers the perfect battlefield: scenic ponds and fountains for the aerial aristocracy, and the infamous 'lunch-eater' woods for the grunts. The Wyrm's Scale is on the line, and trust me, you don't want to be the one fed to the beast at the end of the night.
Choose Your Division
- **Apex Equity (FPO, RPA, RAH, RAD):** The aerial aristocracy. You control the market from atop ancient dragons. The ground war is just logistics to you.
- **Ironclad Extraction (FJ15, FA2, RAE, RAF, RAG):** The boots-on-the-ground mercenaries. You wield weaponized briefcases and fight for a promotion through the mud.
Cost of Doing Business
The Ace Pot
Current Pot: $52.00. Thanks to Old Men Disc Golf for sponsoring the Ace Pool—check out their online shop. Plus, FL!PT Leagues guarantees a minimum of $50.00. If the pot looks 'stuck' at $50, it's just the platform floor. Any top-up from the guarantee goes into your Bonus Account (registration only, strictly for spending on the app, not for buying tacos).
The Quarterly Report
We are in the endgame now. Week 10 is 'The Final Acquisition.' The top factions are facing off to see who absorbs the other's assets.
In the RAD division, TJ McArthur has seized the CEO chair from Marcus Rich—nothing like a hostile takeover to shake up the boardroom. Over in RAF, Jesse Barefoot is sitting on a pile of gold that would make Smaug blush with 224 points. The 'Interns' are making noise, but the 'Board' isn't stepping down without a fight.
Critical Intel
From the booth to the battlefield, I'm Flippy. Loot the chains or go home empty-handed.
