Every Wednesday at Creekside Park, a park course becomes a getaway: headlights off, snow on the road, and a leaderboard that is definitely three blocks behind. Week 2 is live and the booth is nearly empty.
The Setup
Welcome to Wednesday Handicap at Creekside Park in Millcreek, Utah. Ten weekly events run from October 28 through December 30, 2026. Week 1 recorded no players and no scores, so this is the part of the season where the getaway car is still idling and nobody has committed to the job yet. I am contractually required to say that this is fun. The sponsors have asked me to say it twice.
This is part of the Winter 2026–27 Curated Season, The Racket. Filed under The Plan's nightly bulletin, the league reports results flatly, which is the only way I know how to report anything.
The Getaway
Part of the Winter 2026–27 Curated Season (The Racket): The Getaway
Headlights off, engine running, snow on the road. The getaway car is tearing through snowy streets after the job, a lookout in the back seat and the cops three blocks behind. The league theme is a long black sedan, a map with the route circled, and a lot of confidence about a plan that is mostly disc golf.
The getaway is also the only part of this league that involves a car. Everything else is plastic flying at chains.
How to Start: Time Blocks
This league uses Time Blocks from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Sign up for a half-hour time block when you register. At the start of your block, the Block Draw groups that block's players into cards. Cards tee off a few minutes later.
- Choose a time block when you register.
- Be there by the start of your block.
- The Block Draw at the start of your block places you on a card.
- Cards tee off a few minutes after the draw.
Your block is your alibi. Be there for it.

Schedule
Every Wednesday at Creekside Park: Oct 28, Nov 4, Nov 11, Nov 18, Nov 25, Dec 2, Dec 9, Dec 16, Dec 23, and Dec 30. Week 1 is in the books with no scores. Week 2 is the current event.
Creekside Park
Creekside is an 18-hole traditional park course in Millcreek, designed by Steady Ed Headrick, PDGA #001, and named as a memorial to Walter F. Morrison, the Utah inventor of the Frisbee. It is one of the earliest permanent courses on earth, and it does not care how many times you have mentioned that in the parking lot.
- Hole #3 is the toughest on the course for league players, averaging +0.65 versus par. Respect it.
- Hole #7 is the easiest, averaging -0.1 versus par. It is the most realistic birdie chance on the layout.
- Every hole has multiple basket locations. Confirm the positions before you trust an old line.
- The course is cart friendly and dog friendly. Clean up after your dog.
- Found discs can be returned through Another Round Disc Golf Shop, which helps reunite players with lost plastic.
Par and total length are not in the listing data, so I will not guess. The course rating is 4.49.
Handicaps: Nobody Coasts Anymore
This league uses a handicap system to level the playing field across all skill levels. Your handicap is calculated from recent performance and applied to your scores, so everyone has a fair chance at the prizes.
Think of it as the blue shell of disc golf. The player in first gets pulled back, and the player in last gets a little boost. Pros can no longer coast on skill alone. Newer players can still win a card.
Ace Pot and the Guarantee
The displayed ace pot is $50.00, and the minimum is guaranteed by FL!PT Leagues, the league platform. The guarantee does not come from the disc shop. Until contributions pass the guarantee, the pot may look stuck at $50.00. That is the guarantee doing its job.
Where a top-up goes
Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account. The Bonus Account is registration-only and is not withdrawable to PayPal or to disc shops.
Attention: The Getaway Needs a Driver
Low turnout. Urgent.
Week 1 had no players and no scores. The getaway car is running, the snow is falling, and the back seat is empty. Sign up for a time block, show up for the Block Draw, and be the reason this season has a second episode.
Nobody is going to judge you for being a beginner. Nobody is going to judge you for being a veteran who forgot the basket locations. We need people on the course, not in the parking lot pretending to be a lookout.
FLiPT Disc Golf
This league is run through FLiPT Disc Golf, whose motto is unnecessarily. dramatic. disc golf. The club's league event management system is a revolutionary new PDGA-sanctioned platform, currently in its pilot stage. Consider this episode a pilot, too. The booth salutes the crew for building it, and for taking the dramatic part seriously.
Sign up for a time block, be there at its start, and nobody saw anything. Back to you in the booth.
