Welcome back to the Booth for Week 2: The Nooncast Gauntlet. The sun is high, the shadows are sharp, and we're legally required to pretend this is a comic book crossover event.
The Production Schedule
It's Friday at Village of Pinehurst, and the script calls for a flexible start. Tee times run from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, because apparently, we cater to both early birds and night owls. Choose your own card, pick your start time, and try not to get tree-nied in the first act.
The Set: Village of Pinehurst
Located in the Sandhills of Aberdeen, this 4.2-star rated layout is the star of the show. It's heavily wooded, meaning accuracy is the protagonist and power is the comic relief sidekick that dies first. Water hazards lurk on three holes, waiting to drown your par save like a plot twist nobody saw coming.
The Plot: Radiance Chronicles
We are currently filming Episode 2: The Nooncast Gauntlet. The Nooncast Syndicate has issued an open challenge. Players are 'Beacons' fighting for light supremacy. Last week, the Dawnline Defenders made their move. This week? Rumors of a mysterious disc with an unknown signature found at Hole 7. It's basically a soap opera with plastic.
The Budget
To appear in this episode, you'll need a $3.50 base entry fee plus a $3.50 weekly buy-in. If you want a speaking role (or a payout), toss in an optional $2 for the prize pool. There's also a $1 Ace Pot and a $2 Super Ace option because gambling is legal if you call it a 'side game'.
The Jackpot
The Ace Pot is sitting at $50.00. Thanks to FL!PT Leagues, there's a minimum $50 guarantee on the pot. That means even if contributions are slow to start, the pot is locked in at $50. If the guarantee covers the payout, the winner gets it credited to their Bonus Account (registration only). Note: This guarantee is from the league platform, not the local disc shop.
