Welcome to the First Threshold. The fog lifts over Buckhorn, revealing a season-long saga where plastic is power and the tag on your bag is the only thing standing between you and obscurity.
The Campaign Begins
It's Week 1 of *Shelob's Web*, and the stakes have never been... hypothetical. This is the *First Threshold*, where a loose assembly of rangers gathers to see who folds under pressure and who actually practices. We're treating bag tags like artifacts of power because, frankly, it's more fun than admitting we're just playing catch in the woods.
The format is Choose Your Own Adventure: Flex start between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Pick your tee time, walk the Web, and try not to lose your disc to the Anduin River (also known as the water hazard on Hole 12).
The Dungeon (Buckhorn)
We're at Buckhorn at Harris Lake County Park, a 4.5-star rated gauntlet of Carolina woods and water hazards. It's not just a course; it's a character study. Eight holes feature water, so bring your retriever or your checkbook. The terrain is hilly, the trees are thick, and Hole 9 plays an average of +0.83 over par. It's statistical proof that the course hates you.
Choose Your Faction
- **Iron Lantern Oath**: For RPA, RAH, and RAD divisions. The sworn protectors of the fairway. They like torches, armor, and straight fairways.
- **Whispering Weavers**: For RAE, RAF, and RAG divisions. Masters of the undergrowth. They thrive where the light fails and prefer stealth over steel.

The Ace Pot sits at a cool $50.00. And yes, that amount is guaranteed by FL!PT Leagues (the league platform), not the fine folks at the disc shop. The platform puts the money in the pot to ensure the game is worth the candle. If contributions exceed $50, the pot grows. If not, FL!PT Leagues tops it up because they believe in your ability to hit chains. Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account.

This isn't just a league; it's an epic fantasy trilogy compressed into ten weeks. The *One Tag to Rule Them All* series is here, turning your Tuesday round into a quest for Middle-earth domination. The bag tags are physical artifacts of power—medallions on leather cords that you must defend with honor or lose in shame.
Visual style is 1980s tabletop RPG module cover: acrylic on illustration board, torchlight, and deep shadows. You're not just a disc golfer; you're a ranger, a scout, or a road-worn traveler. The Web is watching.
