Chill That Lingers Your Scorecard Fades Bog Iron Doesn't Break

Iron Root was created in the earliest days of the Stumptown Settlement when the first pioneers discovered that the muddy bogs near McCormick Park held deposits of actual bog iron. The first player to successfully extract iron from the mud and forge it into a claim marker earned the name Iron Root - and all who followed in their footsteps carry that same spirit of extracting victory from the most unforgiving terrain.

The Iron Root tag appears as a rough, hand-forged iron disc with a visible hammer-marked texture and deep green-brown patina covering its surface. At its center, a stylized root system spirals outward, the lines cut deeply into the metal as if the roots themselves grew from the iron. The edges are uneven, clearly shaped by hand rather than machine, and the tag feels significantly heavier than it appears - a physical burden that reminds holders of the weight of their claimed territory. The tag remains perpetually cold to the touch, even in summer, as if it has absorbed the chill of the bog from which it was forged.

Iron Root serves as the ultimate proof of resilience - holders have proven they can survive and thrive in conditions that eliminate other players, making them feared challengers and nearly impossible to remove from their claims. This tag travels across leagues, recognizing players who consistently extract victory from the harshest conditions the series has to offer.
