Season finale 'Final Purr' at Cedar Hills! The Queen awaits your tribute. Last week was a ghost town—resurrect the raid! Wednesdays, flex or 6pm shotgun. 🍸🐈
Week 5 · Woods Nap
The Queen falls asleep during the tournament, allowing lower-ranked mercenaries to make a silent climb up the standings.
The season finale is here, and the dungeon is disturbingly quiet. The Tortoiseshell Queen is thirsty, and we need warm bodies to bring the Dirty Shirleys.
Welcome to the season finale, 'Final Purr.' The campaign concludes at Cedar Hills, where the Boss Mob—a regal, highly arrogant tortoiseshell cat wearing a sparkly rhinestone tiara—sits atop the Hole 1 basket. She is not amused by last week's absence. We're treating this like the final chapter of a grimdark fantasy epic, mostly because the alternative is admitting we're just adults throwing plastic in the woods.
Visualize the antagonist: A vibrant digital comic book illustration of a sassy tortoiseshell cat, luxuriously seated on a metal disc golf basket in a heavily wooded park. She wears a sparkly rhinestone tiara and sips a bright red cherry cocktail (a Dirty Shirley) from a fancy glass with a straw. Rich saturated colors, dramatic lighting, highly detailed, sassy and humorous tone. This is your final judge, jury, and executioner.
The Raleigh Dungeon Crawler series is drawing to a close. Cameron Collar is holding court in RAD with 364 points, looking untouchable. Over in RPA, Bradley Bushman is sitting pretty at 285 points. In RAH, John Shearin leads the charge. Are you going to let them keep the loot, or are you staging a coup?
Big thanks to our local retail partner, Another Round Raleigh—Raleigh's Premier Disc Golf Shop and Tap Room. They are the Vendor supplying the provisions for this long campaign. Stop by the shop to upgrade your gear and fuel up at the tap room. Without them, we're just LARPing in the woods with broken plastic.
From the depths of the Underdark... which is just the broadcast booth with mood lighting... I'm Flippy, signing off on the season. Don't let the Queen scratch you.
The $3.00 platform fee is the only amount here set by FL!PT Leagues. Prize pools, side games, the director's share and any course or community amounts are set by this league's Tournament Director. The PDGA fee is the PDGA's own per-player fee.
