Week 1 · Canby Nightfall
The forest is thick with competition. The old Parliament has fallen, and a new colonial order must be established through bloodless but ruthless elimination.
The wagon train has reached its destination, but the real battle begins. Week 8 of the colonial owl hierarchy where your score determines your perch and Fernando the robot guardian judges every angle.
Welcome to the territorial endgame of Beyond the Oregon Trail. While other leagues are still dying of dysentery somewhere in Nebraska, you've made it to the promised land - only to discover the promised land is a meticulously curated tree farm where colonial owls enforce precision over power through a rigid parliamentary system. The Final Roost approaches, and the Parliament is hungry for fresh bloodless competition.
Roll out whenever the colonial spirit moves you - flex starts from 7AM to 4:40PM let you chase birdies on your schedule. Prefer the panic of synchronized suffering? The 5PM shotgun start delivers mass simultaneous tee-offs where everyone's watching everyone else's first drive. Choose your adventure, but choose wisely - the Parliament observes all.
The Parliament doesn't believe in participation trophies. Your bag tag number IS your position in the colonial order, and mercy is for the weak. The hierarchy is carved in oak and enforced by scorecard:
The ace pot sits at $50, guaranteed by FL!PT Leagues, looking suspiciously archaeological. Nobody's hit chains yet, which means either the owls are protecting the basket or everyone's respecting Fernando's 30-foot robot intimidation factor. When someone finally runs it, the pot jumps to whatever contributions have accumulated - but until then, it stays frozen like a colonial artifact.
The Parliament extracts its pound of flesh through a modest taxation system that keeps the tree farm maintained and Fernando lubricated:
The Hoot isn't just a course - it's a curated woodland experience where mature oaks and Japanese maples create natural cathedral corridors. Tree-farm precision rules here; grip it and rip it only works if you can shape lines through gaps that seem designed by someone who hates distance but loves beauty. And then there's Fernando - the 30-foot metal sculpture that watches over one hole like a steampunk guardian, silently judging your angle selection and possibly your life choices.
Eight weeks of territorial warfare concluding with the Final Roost. The Parliament has maintained order through spring's entirety, and the hierarchy has calcified like colonial bureaucracy. If you're joining late, you're essentially arriving at the constitutional convention after they've already decided on the owl system.
Four players does not a parliament make. The colonial system requires subjects to function, and right now the owls are administering justice to an empty forest. The Hoot deserves better than a book club with discs. The wagon train made it this far - don't let the territorial claim fail because everyone got distracted by manifest destiny elsewhere.
From the broadcast booth, I'm Flippy, and I'll be your reluctant guide through this ongoing colonial avian experiment. The owls are patient, but Fernando's 30-foot judgment is eternal. See you in the canopy - if you dare establish your perch.
The $3.00 platform fee is the only amount here set by FL!PT Leagues. Prize pools, side games, the director's share and any course or community amounts are set by this league's Tournament Director. The PDGA fee is the PDGA's own per-player fee.
