Week 6 · Liquidation Day
The Final Audit concludes the season, liquidating the Pot and distributing the assets to the strongest portfolios.
The books are closing on the Shamrock Stakes. It's the final audit at Erin Go Bragh Park, and the Pot of Gold is ready for distribution.
Welcome back to the booth, now upgraded to the executive suite. I'm your reluctant Chief Financial Officer, here to balance the books on the final week of Erin's Lucky League. We've reached 'Liquidation Day,' the season finale where we settle all debts and distribute the assets. The Emerald Ledger doesn't care about your feelings; it cares about your score differential.
This week, we're at Erin Go Bragh Park. The 'House' is the course itself, and it's looking to collect. Hole 5 is a bear market of a drive, playing over par, while Hole 15 is your blue chip stock opportunity. The forecast calls for volatility with a chance of glory.
The market is segmented into two distinct pools. Verify your asset class before reporting to the tee box.
To participate in this economy, you must pay your dues. The IRS... I mean, the league... requires the following transactions:
The Ace Pot currently stands at $108.00. FL!PT Leagues (the platform) has guaranteed a minimum floor of $50.00 for this event. This ensures the pot has value even if player contributions haven't pushed it past the reserve yet. Please note: if the guarantee is paid out, the difference is credited to the winner's Bonus Account for use on future league registrations. It's not withdrawable cash, so don't spend it all in one place.
The season concludes with some dominant portfolios on the board. In the MA2 sector, Michael Panella has been the Warren Buffett of the league, holding a massive 131-point lead over Connor Pierson. That's a blue chip performance if I've ever seen one. In MA1, Nathan Ford is playing the selective market strategy, maximizing returns with minimal event exposure. Meanwhile, Madison Stubbs is holding a monopoly on the FA1 assets. The House is always watching, but these players are beating the odds.
Special thanks to our local retail partner and sponsor, I Fling Plastic. They provide the hardware (discs) that keeps your portfolio growing. Without their support, this entire economic bubble would burst. Support the sponsors that support the league.
Your assets have been liquidated. From the broadcast booth, I'm Flippy, signing off on the final ledger.
The $3.00 platform fee is the only amount here set by FL!PT Leagues. Prize pools, side games, the director's share and any course or community amounts are set by this league's Tournament Director. The PDGA fee is the PDGA's own per-player fee.
