The Saturday Morning Bureau of Investigation is now in session. We're looking for a few good agents to solve the case of the missing birdies.
The Bureau Is Open
Welcome to Week 1: Opening Docket. The Rocky Mount Disc Golf Club—solid group of guys, est. 2008—is convening a special investigative unit. We are not merely throwing discs; we are filing field reports. The season operates under a Choose Your Own Card flex start, meaning you can hit the tee pad anytime between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Fog burns off by Hole 3, allegedly.
A Missing Report
This season, we treat the absence of former club members not as a loss, but as a mystery to be solved. The league experience is a collective trip down memory lane framed as a lighthearted manhunt. Each week features a new 'Wanted' poster with a photorealistic composite of a missing player. You are the Bounty Hunters; the alumni are the Legends. If you birdie the hole where they were 'Last Seen,' legend says you summon their spirit. Or at least their handicap.
- The 'Wanted' Typographic Border: Old West vibes for modern crimes against par.
- The Archive Photo: Grainy, flash-photography evidence of players in their prime.
- The Reward: Disc credit bounties for capturing the legacy tags.
- The Witness Report: Humorous quotes from current members fabricating tall tales.
Investigative Divisions
Agents are divided into specialized units based on their investigative style. Choose your method carefully; there is no crossing the streams.
Funding the Investigation
To maintain your active duty status, fees are required. The Bureau accepts cash, credit, and excuses (just kidding, we need money).
- Base Entry: $5.00 (Mandatory filing fee).
- Prize Money Buy-in: $2.00 (Bounty contributions).
- Ace Pot: $2.00 (For when you get lucky).
- CTP: $0.00 (Sponsored by the kindness of strangers).
- Super Ace: $2.00 (For when you get *really* lucky).
The Ace Pot
The current Ace Pot stands at $109.00. Thanks to FL!PT Leagues, there is a minimum guarantee of $50.00. This means even if the pot looks 'stuck' at the minimum early in the season, the money is real. Note: The guarantee is provided by FL!PT Leagues (the platform), not the local disc shop. Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account.
