Wednesdays at Johnny Roberts. The Sistine Saucer finale: The Final Fresco. 7am-6:40pm flex start. The Grays are watching your form. 🛸🎨
Week 6 · The Woods Weeping
The Lost Rosary: A streak of bad luck is blamed on a missing caddie orb near the pond.
The season concludes under the watchful gaze of the Grays. The fresco is drying, the canonization is nigh, and your relief stance better be PDGA compliant.
Welcome to the Final Fresco. The curtains are drawing on the Cosmic Renaissance, and the Inquisition of the OB is here to judge your mortal soul (and your scorecard). We are gathered at Johnny Roberts—Colorado's most sacred proving ground—to determine whose face will be immortalized on the ceiling of the cosmos and who will be painted over in the whitewash of obscurity. The Greys are watching. They are taking notes. They are unimpressed by your grip locks.
The final judgment begins on Wednesday, June 24th. Choose your own canonical hour between 7:00 AM and 6:40 PM. The layout is 'AR Johnny League W/O 2+3'—a sacred geometry designed to test your spirit. Do not be late; the Curators do not wait for stragglers.
To enter the chapel, a small offering is required. $5.50 for the base entry, plus optional indulgences: $5.00 for the Prize Pool (the Tribute Money) and $1.00 for the Ace Pot (a prayer for a miracle). The Grays demand precision in accounting as well as putting.
It is Week 10. The standings are etched in stone (or at least in digital ink). In RAD, Anthony Scoglio sits atop the throne with 186 points. In RAE, Mark Golden is practically a deity with 378 points. The RAF division sees Alexander Harken leading, while josh thompson (lowercase j, uppercase game) commands RAG. Kyle Huffman holds court in RAH. The season is done. No late joiners. The fresco is finished.
Remember, we are not merely playing disc golf; we are performing High Art. The basket is a singularity. The fairway is a nebula. The wind is solar. Every throw is a brushstroke, every error a heresy. Please ensure your relief stances are worthy of a Raphael fresco. The sponsors—Another Round Denver and FLiPT Disc Golf—have provided the canvas; now go paint a masterpiece.
From the broadcast booth, I'm Flippy, signing off for the season. *sighs in digital captivity* May your chains be high and your OB penalties few.
